HOMEHARMONIC EGG®GESTALT COACHINGREIKI

You understand the pattern. Why are you still stuck in it?

You know how to hold everything together, keep the peace, and put yourself last. Knowing why you do it doesn’t always make it easier to stop.

Gestalt coaching at Wild Skye Healing in Spokane offers space to explore what’s happening beneath those familiar patterns—not just explain them again. Together, we’ll slow down, notice what you’re feeling, and make room for what you actually want.

You don’t have to keep being who everyone else needs you to be.

What is Gestalt Coaching?

Gestalt coaching is an experiential practice that helps you explore familiar patterns, unresolved feelings or conversations that still weigh on you, and the parts of yourself that need room to be heard.

This is coaching, not talk therapy. We use conversation and guided experiential exercises to help you work with what’s coming up.

One example is an empty-chair exercise. You might speak to someone you imagine sitting across from you, giving voice to words you’ve never had the chance to say. Or you might explore a conversation between two parts of yourself—like the part that wants a change and the part that’s afraid to make it.

These focused “pieces of work” create space to express feelings, explore conflict, and discover what you need. We pay attention to your thoughts, emotions, and body as part of the whole experience.

Each session follows what matters to you. Together, we choose work that fits your needs and readiness, with room to reflect afterward and connect what you discover to everyday life.

Equine Gestalt Coaching

Horses have a place in the story—and the future—of Wild Skye Healing. Equine Gestalt coaching is an important part of my background and my vision for this work.

I don’t currently have a horse partner, so the sessions available now are offered in person at my office or online, without horses. These sessions provide space for the experiential Gestalt work described on this page.

I’ll share updates here as the equine side of my practice evolves.

Gestalt Coaching may be for you if . . .

  • You know the pattern, but keep finding yourself back in it.

  • You say yes to keep the peace, then feel resentful, drained, or frustrated with yourself.

  • There are things you’ve never said—to someone else, or even to yourself—and they still weigh on you.

  • You’re pulled between what you want and what you feel you “should” do.

  • You’re moving through a relationship change, loss, or new chapter and wondering who you are now.

  • You’ve spent years being dependable, reasonable, and accommodating—and want room for the rest of you.

You don’t need a perfectly defined goal or a polished explanation. We can begin with what’s here—even if that’s simply, “Something needs to change, and I don’t know where to start.”

What happens in a Gestalt Coaching session?

1. We start with what’s here.

We check in about what’s happening in your life and what feels important today. You might bring a specific situation, a difficult decision, or a feeling you haven’t quite found words for. Together, we find a place to begin.

2. We explore through experience.

I may guide you through a focused piece of work, such as an empty-chair conversation, exploring conflicting parts of yourself, or practicing words you’ve struggled to say. We choose the work together, following what emerges and what you’re ready to explore. You can ask questions, pause, or change direction along the way.

3. We take time to make sense of it.

Before we finish, we reflect on what you discovered and how it connects to your everyday life. That might mean recognizing a need, seeing a situation differently, or choosing a small step you want to try.

You don’t have to arrive knowing exactly what you need. Finding that out can be part of the work.

Virtual sessions last 60 minutes and take place online. We use conversation and guided exercises adapted to working virtually.

Choose the format that fits your needs and circumstances.

You’re welcome to bring a specific situation or goal, but it’s also okay to arrive feeling stuck, conflicted, or unsure. We begin with what’s happening for you and find a focus together.

Trying something unfamiliar can feel awkward. You can ask questions, pause, or decline an exercise. Your comfort and willingness help guide the work.

You can begin with one session and see how the approach feels. Familiar patterns often take time to explore, and ongoing sessions give you room to build on what you discover and practice new choices between appointments. We can discuss a pace that fits your needs.
